| Cockeyed Press is a fine art print publisher based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Cockeyed Press specializes in linoleum block prints, linocuts, linographs and photographs. These prints cover a variety of content and styles including, satire, expressionism, cartoon graphics, pop culture graphics and social political graphics. All work shown on the site is original. All the prints have been hand printed. The director of the press is Bill Fick. Fick is a contemporary printmaker who has exhibited nationally and internationally. Fick has also taught and been a visiting artist at many colleges and universities including, Pratt Institute, Rutgers University, University of Central Florida, The School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston and The University of Kansas. Cockeyed Press is a leader in innovative printmaking techniques. Cockeyed Press is the first printmaking studio in the United States to collaborate with porcine scientists in developing projects which explore the relationship between art and pork. Fick has recently moved Cockeyed Press to North Carolina after being in New York City for eight years. </table> |
